The Mobile Marketing Association has certified TextBoard owner Justin Rockwell as an expert on consumer-focused mobile marketing services for all businesses and brands.
TextBoard owner and CEO Justin Rockwell has received Mobile Marketer Certification from the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), a global non-profit trade association for mobile marketers. Rockwell is the first MMA certified mobile marketer in the state of South Carolina. Certification requires members to master the fundamentals of mobile marketing, including industry regulation, privacy standards, consumer best practices, the Global Code of Conduct and other essential mobile guidelines.
Because mobile marketing is an evolving field that contacts consumers directly on their personal devices, marketers must be especially cognizant about protecting user privacy and ensuring quality marketing campaigns that do not inundate consumers with unsolicited advertising. Adhering to industry-approved guidelines and best practices is important for attracting new consumers, maintaining brand reputations, and fostering the continued, rapid growth of mobile marketing.

Tier 1 is the first certification level released by the MMA. To receive certification, an applicant must pass an exam on industry terminology, regulatory requirements, mobile applications and programs, budget and financial planning, and available industry resources. The Mobile Marketer Certification endorses Rockwell as an expert of the business standards and technologies that are central to the mobile industry.
